We’re experiencing my favorite weather of the entire year — fall brings sunny skies and temperature in the 60s — which is perfect for me (and I wish we could have it all year long). As a work at home mom, though, and one doing 82484 things (or so it feels like), I don’t go out much. I took a walk yesterday not for him but because I had to get the optometrist to fix loose glasses. I remember being warned tons of times that I should definitely take advantage of these moments before the winter since I’ll never go outside when that hits. But given that I work at home and never feel compelled to go outside, I’m not sure what to expect during the winter. I’m assuming it’s going to be just fine. He seems to tolerate it too.
Are you someone like me who never gets out and doesn’t find it bothersome at all? If so, what happens with a baby?
In other news, David is now flipping on his belly all the time. We put him in the crib on his back all the time and check on him minutes later and he’s already on his belly. Apparently, that’s his favorite position to sleep. Speaking of that, he’s a little inchworm. You put him in the center of the crib parallel to the crib rails, a few hours later, he’s perpendicular to them all the way at the end of the crib. If he’s happy, I don’t mind 🙂
He also has figured out that when he scratches things (his crib sheets, the play mat), it makes noise. So he does it again and again to entertain himself. Hey, if it works.
