Today, we got a package with a big box (in case you’re wondering, the amazing Learning Resources teaching cash register David got for his birthday was DOA, and the excellent customer service sent David a replacement free of charge!). Before bedtime, David did his little antics and decided to not come with me to the bathroom to brush his teeth (sometimes, he’s so willing! Other times, not so much). I put him in the box and told him that we’re going to “mail him back to the manufacturer.” Little does he realize that we’re the manufacturers and he’s not being mailed anywhere, but “manufacturer” is such a big word that David buys it. He gets a little frightened and wises up to listen to his mommy.
