Sarah is already thinking like an older kid.

She is also so thoughtful. The other day, I hurt myself and said ouch. She immediately responded with “Are you okay, mommy?”
Today, I had dental work and my dentist accidentally drilled into my gums, causing me to bleed and I’ve been sore all day. I explained to the kids that dental work doesn’t always hurt but when it does, your gums hurt and it will eventually heal.
A few minutes later, I told the kids that it still hurt. Sarah responded with, “But it will heal soon, mommy.”
