David is pretty much fully potty trained. Tonight, I couldn’t bathe him (nor could Daddy since he’s not even home yet and it’s almost 11pm) so I put David to bed in his underwear that he wore all day. I am pretty confident after it being 2+ weeks at night (with one accident — and that was when he was sick and wearing his pull-ups for a few hours after he woke up) that he won’t make a potty mess.
Today, David taught me that he knew a new word: disgusting. We were reading the “brown bear, brown bear, what do you see?” book and he looked at the purple cat and told me that it was disgusting and yucky. I have no idea why he thinks that, but I think it’s hilarious that he has that word in his vocabulary.
Earlier this week, David had a little tummy bug and he threw up. On Wednesday, he wanted to go to school even though he couldn’t keep food down. We told him, “David, you can’t go, you’re going to throw up in school,” and he said “Throw up in school toilet.” His heart is in the right place, I guess. 🙂
He’s also sleeping in the big boy bed! So exciting!
