Two.
Last night, Sarah was complaining to me that she has been two years old “for too long.” Today, David got in a bit of trouble for not listening to his mommy. Sarah said “Don’t make David cry. He’s my brother!”

Sarah was just given a cookie. She dropped it. “The cookie’s okay. I’m okay, Mommy,” she says with a straight face after picking it up.
Alana looks a lot like David. Everyone says it. There are some baby pictures where you can’t tell them apart. But Alana has her own look too. Minutes ago, while I was in bed with her after her midnight feeding (for the record, it is 12:35am as I type this), I explained this to Alana.
David just asked a very valid question. While I was on the phone with someone who said, “please hold while I get someone for you, one second,” David responded with: “Mommy, why is it that a lot of people say ‘one second’ and it takes a long time?” I think he is onto something.
Sarah uses the white crayon on white paper. When she realizes it doesn’t come out, she gets frustrated. “Mommy, the wipe is not working.” Nope, dear, it’s not.
Brian has an iPhone and he gives the phone to the kids and lets them play with Siri. David asks legit questions, like “Where is buy buy baby?” Meanwhile, Sarah, when sitting next to David, asks Siri, “where did David go?”
