Daddy.

Everyone to Sarah is Daddy. She apparently used the word “Mommy” for a week in August when I wasn’t even with her. But any adult figure that she looks up to (or sees pictured on a computer) is “Daddy.” We are all Daddy. I don’t know when she’ll make the distinction that I am Mommy

Newness.

Well, that’s new. Sarah is saying only a few words, like “hi,” “bye,” and “Daddy.” Mommy, not so much. But this morning I was looking at a picture of a baby on Facebook and Sarah pointed and said “bay!” I think I know what she was trying to communicate. Nice work, little one!
